US: Anti-fascism protests scheduled nationwide December 14

An anti-fascism civil society group has called for nationwide protests on Saturday, December 14, to demand the resignation of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Participants plan to gather at the following times (all local times) and locations:

• 14:00 at Copley Square in Boston (Massachusetts)
• 13:00 at Millennium Park in Chicago (Illinois)
• 14:00 at Ontario and Eclid in Cleveland (Ohio)
• 11:00 at Grand Circus Park in Detroit (Michigan)
• 10:00 at Waikiki Gateway Park in Honolulu (Hawaii)
• 14:00 at Bell Park in Houston (Texas)
• 11:00 at Meridian and Saint Claire in Indianapolis (Indiana)
• 16:00 at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles (California)
• 14:00 at 5th Avenue and 59th St Manhattan in New York City (New York)
• 14:00 at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania)
• 13:00 at Powell and Market in San Francisco (California)
• 14:30 at Native Park in Seattle (Washington)

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected near all protest sites. Similar protests and counterprotests are possible in major urban areas.
