The Nio Lank civil society group has called for a protest in Dakar on Friday, December 13, to denounce the increased price of electricity and demand the release of an activist arrested on Friday, November 29, in a related protest. Participants are due to meet at 16:00 (local time) at Place de la Nation and later march towards a roundabout located in front of the Senegal Radio and Television (RTS).
