On Saturday, April 11, villagers from Diourouzon and Diahondy (Bangolo department) clashed, leaving one person dead and three others wounded. The wounded have been transferred to a hospital in Béoué-Zibiao for treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

A heightened security presence is to be expected in the area over the coming hours. Similar intercommunal clashes are possible in Bangolo department over the near term.
