As of Friday, January 17, the Thai Pollution Control Department (PCD) reported an unsafe level of PM2.5 fine dust concentration between 28-55 micrograms per cubic meters for ten areas in the Greater Bangkok Area.
The most affected areas include the Din Daeng, Bung Kum, Wang Thong Lang, Bang Kho Laem, Bang Kapi, Lat Krabang, Klong San, Phra Nakhon, Klong Toey, and Lak Si districts.
The situation is likely to continue over the coming days.
