Suspected militiamen killed at least 10 civilians and injured three others in Ndosho district, city of Goma, North Kivu province late Dec. 4. According to preliminary reports, the armed men raided the area and opened fire on civilians in a hairdressing salon. No suspects have been apprehended, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities have confirmed the incident. The attacks occur after authorities launched a campaign in November to collect weapons scattered in the area.
