Azerbaijan will mark the victory over Armenia-aligned forces in Nagorno-Karabakh with a military parade in Baku's Freedom Square Dec. 10. Road closures have already been implemented in the city center to facilitate rehearsals and the positioning of military equipment. The main parade will likely take place during the morning of Dec. 10; road closures will likely be cleared by the late afternoon.

Roads closed to facilitate the event include Neftchilar Avenue, Azneft Square, Rashid Behbudov Street, Zarifa Aliyeva Street, Uzeyir Hajibeyov Street, Javanshir Bridge, and Afiyaddin Jalilov Street. Extensive road travel disruptions, including public transport, are likely.

Authorities will deploy increased security to the city center ahead of the parade as a precaution. The events will probably proceed peacefully.
