The Irbid Electricity Company plans to cut off electricity to areas of Mafraq Governorate for maintenance purposes 0900-1600 Jan. 5. The power supply cuts will affect the following areas: Ain Bani Hassan, Al Madawir, Al Nuzha, Al Maamariah, Iskan Ammon, Balama, Al Masjid neighborhood, Hammana, Al Bustan, Al Nizamia, Abu Al Duhur, Umm Juwayna, Sama Al-Sarhan, Rabaa Al-Sarhan, Sumaya, Manshiyet Al-Kuaiber, Zamlat Al-Tarqi, Umm Al-Qattin, and Rawda Prince Ali bin Al Hussein-Abu Al-Farth.

Temporary commercial and communications disruptions, including cellular services, are possible during power outages. Traffic disruptions may occur in some areas due to malfunctioning traffic signals. Trains may also experience delays if outages impact signaling devices or overhead wires. Power outages could also result in the temporary unavailability of essential services such as ATMs and gas stations.
