An explosion occurred in the Dehbori area of Kabul's Police District (PD) 3 the morning of Jan. 16. Initial accounts suggest that an improvised explosive device (IED) caused the blast. It is not immediately clear if the explosion has resulted in any injuries; however, casualties are possible. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
