Two explosions have occurred near Tayaran Square in central Baghdad's Bab al-Shaqi area the morning of Jan. 21. Initial reports indicate that at least one explosion was caused by a suicide bomber; the source of the other explosion remains unconfirmed, but is also likely due to an improvised explosive device.
