Activists call for demonstration in Cabinda on November 28; avoid protests as a precaution



Human rights activists have called for a demonstration in Cabinda on Saturday, November 28, to call for the release of detained activists and for peace in the enclave. Participants will reportedly gather from 12:30 (local time) at Largo Primeiro de Maio and proceed towards Barao de Puna school.

A heightened security presence and associated disruptions should be anticipated in the vicinity of protest sites. Clashes between protesters and security forces are possible.
