Uganda: Knife attacks in Entebbe leave ten wounded December 26

Event

At least ten people were wounded in a series of knife attacks amid Boxing Day celebrations on different beaches in Entebbe (Wakiso district) at approximately 17:00 (local time) on Thursday, December 26. The attackers reportedly robbed victims, most of whom were women and foreigners, stealing their money and other possessions. Similar attacks are possible in Wakiso district over the near term.
