Canadian weather officials issue snowfall warnings for British Columbia on April 3; associated transportation disruptions expected



On Friday, April 3, snowfall warnings were issued in British Columbia as adverse weather conditions are predicted in the coming days. A snowfall warning is in effect for the Coquihalla Highway as 25 cm (10 in) of snow has been forecast to fall. According to Environment Canada, 10-15 cm (4-6 in) of snow has already fallen as of Friday and more is expected through Sunday, April 5.
