Increased security measures and localized road closures, are expected in Karachi and Rawalpindi, notably in the vicinity of the events

Multiple international cricket teams suspended travel to Pakistan after seven Sri Lankan players were killed in an attack in Lahore in March 2009. In May 2015, a suicide bombing left two dead during a visit from a Zimbabwean team.
