France: Health workers announce march in Paris February 14

Public health workers have called for a march in Paris on Friday, February 14, to protest the the lack of resources and poor working conditions for public health staff. Participants plan to gather at 12:00 (local time) at Necker Hospital, before heading to Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital via Cochin Hospital. Some disruptions to public health services may occur during the protest. A few hundred emergency service personnel have been on strike for several months to raise awareness of the issue.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected along the march route.
