Ukraine: Protest scheduled in Kyiv for October 14

Event

A protest is scheduled to take place in Kyiv on Wednesday, October 14, in conjunction with Defender of Ukraine Day celebrations. An estimated 5000 participants are expected to gather at Taras Shevchenko Park at approximately 14:00 (local time) before marching to the Presidential Administration building via Khreschatyk Street and Independence Square.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected around the demonstration.
