Korea-ASEAN Summit to be held in Busan November 25-26; heightened security measures and associated disruptions expected

Busan will host a two-day summit between the Republic of Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) from Monday, November 25, through Tuesday, November 26. The meetings and events will be held at the Bexco building and Nurimaru APEC House.

Heightened security measures, including checkpoints, vehicle checks, and increased security personnel are to be expected across Busan throughout the summit. Associated disruptions, including road closures and increased traffic congestion, are also  likely in the vicinity of the venues.
