Dr. Ron Braverman, M.D - Group Medical Director
As Group Medical Director, Ron leads Crisis24’s Global Medical Services and is responsible for overseeing and supporting all medical assistance cases, contributing to strategic planning and clinical governance, and performing critical duties on the assistance platform.
Ron has 24 years of experience at the United States Central Intelligence Agency, where he held various positions supervising medical services globally, running the Agency’s Medevac Center for Europe, Africa, and Central Asia. During the last five years of his tenure at the Agency, he was the CIA Medical Services Director and was awarded the CIA Director’s Award. Most recently, he has worked in both global medical and non-profit healthcare. His experience in crisis management is extensive and includes leading the CIA through crises including anthrax, avian influenza, and ebola events. He is a graduate of Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Oberlin College.
