John Grommers - Senior Security Advisor

After a career spent as a CIA officer, planning and executing high-risk operations overseas and conducting covert action missions on behalf of US policymakers, John joined Crisis 24. He has extensive experience operating in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, as well as the war zones, and is a specialist in physical security and explosive hazards assessment.  

John is a Senior Security Advisor for The Oversight Board (an independent trust of Meta tasked with deciding delicate freedom of speech questions for the various Meta platforms), where he is responsible for liaison with board members and protective intelligence.
