The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for an attack on a military installation in Tank District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, the morning of March 30. The incident has killed at least three security personnel and injured over 18 others. Authorities said they neutralized at least three militants. The casualty count may rise in the coming hours. Officials have reopened roads in the district, though security operations continue.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely to remain in the coming hours. Authorities may enforce evacuations, business and road closures, as well as controls on movement and telecommunication services to facilitate security and clearance operations.

The incident site is approximately 255 km (158 miles) northwest of Multan.
