Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the March 23 attack near Mogadishu's Aden Adde International Airport (MGQ) March 23. At least four Al-Shabaab militants wearing Somali military uniforms and armed with rifles and grenades attacked the Safelane compound next to the Marina Gate entrance. At least six people were killed in the incident. According to the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), flights to and from Aden Adde International Airport have not been affected by the incident.
