Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party supporters based in Australia plan to hold protest marches in Adelaide and Melbourne April 16-17 in support of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Organizers have called for rallies at the following locations:

  • Adelaide: Elders Park to Parliament of South Australia 11:00 April 16

  • Melbourne: Federation Square to Parliament House from 13:30 April 17

Several dozen to a few hundred people will likely participate in the protests. Participants could also gather at public squares and government buildings in other parts of Australia, including the Australian Capital Territory.
