Domestic Measures
Officials continue to require people to wear facemasks, frequently sanitize their hands, and maintain a 1 meter (3 feet) distance from others when in public. The government may reintroduce stricter measures in some localities at short notice, depending on changes in COVID-19 activity. The enforcement level of the curbs varies across the country.

International Travel Restrictions
Authorities allow entry for all travelers of nationalities for all purposes as of May 18. Foreigners can obtain a tourist visa upon arrival in Timor-Leste. The government exempts allowed inbound travelers who are fully vaccinated from quarantine requirements. Passengers who are unable to show a full vaccination certificate must quarantine for up to 14 days at either designated facilities or their residence upon arrival.
