Several missiles reportedly launched from Iran struck sites affiliated with Kurdish opposition groups, including the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah early Nov. 21. Air-raid sirens have been heard in Erbil, and a major security and emergency response operation are likely. Transport and business disruptions are likely in the affected areas through Nov. 21.

Shelter in place if there is fighting or airstrikes in the area. Stay away from windows and exterior walls if officials report incoming rocket or artillery fire.
