Lingering disruptions to airport operations are possible nationwide through the remainder of June 15 following an earlier technical issue. A nationwide outage impacting immigration e-gates resulted in delays in processing passengers scheduled for international flights; Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) and Brisbane Airport (BNE) were worst impacted, with long queues being reported.

Australian Border Force officials have stated the issue has been resolved; however, lingering disruptions to passenger processing and knock-on effects to flight operations are still possible.
