Activists plan to protest outside the Journalists' Syndicate in Cairo from 18:00 Aug. 11. Protesters are demanding the release of detained journalists and denouncing the alleged torture of journalist Ashraf Omar. Dozens to a hundred individuals could attend the demonstration.
