Lingering flight disruptions, including delays and cancellations, will likely affect Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in Newark, New Jersey, after an equipment outage prompted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to issue a ground stop at the facility on Sept. 2. The ground stop, during which crews are evaluating a potential radar outage, is slated to remain in effect until at least 16:45 and could be extended, rescinded, or otherwise modified on short notice.
