US: Puerto Rico reports 5000 cases of flu December 11

The Ministry of Health in Puerto Rico stated that over 5000 cases of influenza have been reported as of Wednesday, December 11. The city of Ponce is the most affected to date. Though the number of cases is below last year's, further spread of the disease remains possible in the coming weeks and months.
