India: Political party plans protests in Chhattisgarh State July 23-28

The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for protests in all districts in Chhattisgarh July 23-28. Participants intend to denounce rising unemployment in the state. The largest protests are likely in district headquarters as well as the state capital, Raipur. Dozens to a few hundred people will likely participate in larger protests. BJP leaders had previously called for related protests in recent weeks.
