Activists from various groups, including Citizens' Victory Movement (Victoria Ciudadana) and the Energy Alliance (Alianza Energetica), plan to march in San Juan July 20 to protest the LUMA energy company, electricity rate increases, and other energy policies. Demonstrators plan to meet in front of the Capitol Building (El Capitolio) at 09:00 before marching to the Fortress (La Fortaleza); organizers claim the action will end by 17:00. Protests may also occur in other parts of San Juan.
