Further protests denouncing fuel price increases are likely in urban nationwide in the coming days following protests over the issue in recent days. Activists, led by the Association for the Defense of Consumer Interests of Faso (ADIC-F), protested in Ouagadougou Sept. 9 and 10. The protest passed without major incident.
