A military-civic parade will take place in downtown Puebla, Puebla State, from 10:00 May 5. The purpose of the action is to commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Puebla. Participants will gather at the Ignacio Zaragoza Monument before marching to the intersection of Boulevard Heroes del 5 de Mayo and Avenida 25 Oriente. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will attend the event. Organizers have indicated that more than 12,500 people will participate.
