France: Accidental explosion results in casualties in La Meauffe Sept. 30

Emergency services are responding to an accidental explosion in La Meauffe, Manche Department, Sept. 30. The exact cause of the incident, which occurred at 09:00, is unclear, but possibly related to the use of propellants when starting an outdoor fire. The resultant blast has left one person dead and two more injured. La Meauffe is located approximately 7 km (4 miles) north of Saint-Lo.
