US: Flight disruptions likely at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, through March 14

Flight disruptions likely to continue at Harry Reid International Airport Las Vegas, Nevada, US, through March 14. Confirm flights.

Informational

Residual flight delays and disruptions will likely continue at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) through March 14 due to high airport traffic volume. The delays are a result of high wind conditions that delayed flights earlier in the day at LAS. As of the evening of March 14, the FAA has issued a ground delay program for arriving flights until at least 23:59, with delays to the airport averaging 79 minutes. Authorities could extend or rescind the Air traffic control measures on short notice.

The FAA may issue additional ground stops and/or ground delays in Nevada over the coming hours.

Confirm flight reservations with your airline if scheduled to fly via LAS; do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
