Albania: President announces march in Tirana March 2

President Ilir Meta has called for a march in Tirana on Monday, March 2, to denounce the current government. Participants plan to gather at the National Martyrs Boulevard. However, President Meta did not immediately announce an exact meeting time.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected along the march route. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out.
