Meteorological authorities issue flood warnings in southern regions March 20-24; associated disruptions expected

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute issued several flood warnings in southern Sweden due to prolonged rainfall and the risk of overflowing rivers. Class-two warnings (second highest on a scale from one to three) are in effect in the Halland, Kronoberg, and Blekinge counties while additional class-one warnings remain in place in the surroundings southern counties. The warnings are expected to last until at least Tuesday, March 24.
