A rally is scheduled to take place in Metro Manila on Monday, November 16. The rally has been organized by the Kilusang Mayo Uno labor organization and is being held to mark the International Day of Protests Against Trade Union Repression. The demonstration is scheduled to take place outside the Department of Labor and Employment where participants will gather at approximately 09:00 (local time).

Additionally, a second demonstration is scheduled to take place outside the Commission on Human Rights in Quezon City from 11:00 (local time).

Large gatherings remain banned in Metro Manila due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Clashes between demonstrators and security forces cannot be ruled out.

A heightened security presence and localized transport disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the demonstration.
