Afghanistan: Casualties reported following bombing in Kabul February 11 /update 1

Event

A suspected suicide bomber killed and wounded multiple people, including soldiers, in Kabul on the morning (local time) of Tuesday, February 11. The attack occurred at approximately 07:05 outside of Marshal Fahim University in the PD5 area. Emergency personnel have deployed to the area and recovery efforts are ongoing. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing. Details are still emerging.

A heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are expected around the blast site over the coming hours.
