Reports of blast in Arzan Qimat District of Kabul’s Police District 12 (PD12) on November 25; further attacks possible in near term



Reports suggest that an under-vehicle improvised explosive device (UVIED) detonated in the Arzan Qimat District of Kabul's Police District 12 (PD12) at approximately 07:45 (local time) on Wednesday, November 25. Reports suggest that an Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) vehicle was targeted and that four people were wounded in the blast. 

Localized disruptions resulting from ensuing security operations are likely in the area in the near term.


Those in Kabul are advised to avoid the affected area, remain vigilant for possible militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
