United States: Protests in New York in coming days amid visit by President Trump
Six demonstrations are planned between May 4 and 9 as President Trump makes his first visit to New York City since taking office

Multiple protests are planned in New York City beginning Thursday, May 4, when US President Donald Trump is scheduled to make his first trip to the city, his hometown, since taking office on January 20. Planned demonstrations include:

Context
Protests in response to the controversial Trump administration have been frequent since his inauguration on January 20. Most recently, tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Washington, DC, and other cities across the country for what was billed as the Peoples’ Climate March on April 29.
