United Kingdom: Train strikes in England to begin June 29
Strikes to affect Northern, Southern, and Gatwick Express trains during various periods between June 29 and July 10

Several strikes are expected to result in rail disruptions in England in the coming days and weeks.
Train conductors at Southern Railway - which serves the London region - will refuse to work overtime beginning on Thursday, June 29, for an indefinite period of time. This is expected to result in service cancelations and modified schedules, affecting Southern trains as well as the Gatwick Express - which connects London with Gatwick International Airport (LGW). More significant disruptions are expected during a 24-hour strike at Southern that will take place on Monday, July 10.
Furthermore, a 72-hour strike will hit Northern Railway - which serves the north of England - from Saturday, July 8, through Monday, July 10. Reduced services along with overcrowding on available trains is anticipated during this three-day period.
