Afghanistan: Suicide attacker targets military convoy near Kabul August 3

Event

A suspected suicide bomber attacked a military convoy traveling in the Qara Bagh district north of Kabul at approximately 20:20 (local time) on Thursday, August 3. According to media sources, at least three civilians were killed and five US soldiers were wounded in the blast. Details are still emerging.
