The incident began at approximately 23:00 on October 1. There are unconfirmed reports of at least two people killed and others injured. The local police have confirmed that one suspect has been neutralized but it is unclear if the situation is under control or if there is are further gunmen. The police operation is ongoing and the Las Vegas Strip remains on lockdown. There are also reports that Las Vegas’s McCarran International Airport (LAS) has been placed on lockdown.
