Ecuador: National coach bus strike February 27

The FENACOTIP union, which represents coach bus drivers, has called for a national 24-hour strike to take place on Tuesday, February 27. Significant service disruptions are to be expected throughout the day. Striking workers could also erect roadblocks on roads and highways. Additional strike actions and consequent transportation disruptions are possible in the coming days if no agreement is reached between the union and the government.
