Mauritania: Anti-slavery protests in Nouakchott April 29-30

Hundreds of people rallied on Sunday, April 29, and Monday, April 30, in Nouakchott to call for the government to end slavery in Mauritania. According to local sources, demonstrators gathered around the Ibn Abas mosque.
