Severe thunderstorms around London continue to cause flight disruptions to and from London Heathrow Airport (LHR), London Luton Airport (LTN), and London Gatwick Airport (LGW) on Tuesday, May 29. According to Eurocontrol, Europe’s air traffic control group, moderate to significant delays are being reported in London due to flooding and low visibility. Some airlines have also canceled regional flights from LTN and LGW. The UK Met has issued a “yellow warning” (indicating that there is a chance of damaging flooding or lightning strikes) for London through Wednesday, May 30.
