Kenya: Aviation authority imposes restrictions on 29 airlines

According to KCAA officials, the airlines under the restrictions will only be allowed to carry out domestic flights until they meet required certifications. However, aviation officials did not release the names of the airlines in order to protect their privacy and business. The decision to conduct the audits was made following the crash of a small plane in the Aberdare forest on June 5, which killed ten people. An investigation into the cause of accident is ongoing as of Friday, June 8.
