Rwanda: Parliamentary elections set for September 3

Parliamentary elections will be held across Rwanda on Monday, September 3, with voters heading to the polls to elect 80 members of the Chamber of Deputies. Political gatherings are likely to take place in the weeks leading up to the election. Although the electoral period is expected to pass off smoothly, an increased security presence and associated transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of all election events.
