The Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in Kabul on September 5. The group claimed that approximately 150 people were killed or wounded in the blasts.

Advice

Individuals in Kabul are advised to monitor developments to the situation, avoid large public gatherings as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities.
