Storm Bronagh follows Storm Ali, bringing strong winds and heavy rain across the country on September 20-21; wind warnings also issued for September 23-24

The UK Meteorological Office (Met) issued yellow wind warnings as Storm Bronagh passes through the country on the evening (local time) of Thursday, September 20, and Friday morning, September 21. Gusts of up to 105 km/h (65 mph) are forecast, raising the possibility of building damage, injuries, and transportation delays, including rail and air. Southern England and the UK's eastern coast will be the most affected, though the storm is set to pass over the entire country. The Met also issued a yellow wind warning for Sunday, September 23, and Monday, September 24, as another storm system is set to move through the region.
Context
Bronagh is the second named storm of the season, following quickly after Storm Ali, which brought dangerous and damaging winds and resulted in the deaths of two people in Ireland.
