France: Rail disruptions expected in Paris November 1-4
Disruptions on RER B line to impact service between Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) November 1-4; prepare alternative travel arrangements
Event
Trains on the RER B line are expected to experience significant disruptions between Antony (Ile-de-France) and Massy (Ile-de-France) and between central Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) from Thursday, November 1, through Sunday, November 4, due to scheduled rail work. Service on the RER B line will be disrupted between Les Baconnets (Antony) to Massy-Palaiseau (Massy) on November 1-4, and between La Plaine Stade de France (Saint-Denis) and Aéroport-CDG/Mitry-Claye stations on November 3-4. Additionally, service from Châtelet-Les Halles in central Paris to Aéroport-CDG/Mitry-Claye will be suspended beginning at 22:45 (local time) on November 4. Buses will provide replacement service to affected RER B stations.
Other modes of public transportation available to reach CDG from Paris include Bus Direct, Roissy Bus, and municipal bus lines 350 and 351.
Advice
Potentially affected individuals in Paris are advised to make alternative travel arrangements and allow for extra time to reach the airport.
